After Saturday’s super league emotions, on Sunday afternoon, we invite all fans to the annual KPR charity festival – We’re Playing We’re Helping – a unique sporting and artistic event. As in the previous year, the income from the event will be credited to the foundation’s account – Salvation for children with cancer. An attractive program, exceptional guests. Sports games of the youngest, performances by famous stage artists, acrobatic gymnastics shows cheerleaders performance. In the intervals between performances, lottery, auctions and contests. Very attractive awards. And at the end of an unusual match – activists and supporters of our club throw challenge of Wroclaw anti-terrorists brigade ! What will be the final of this clash? It is definitely worth checking in person.

Zu Hause gegen Pogon

A unique February weekend in Kobierzyce. Saturdays afternoon by the game of our first team. That time, at Hala Kobierzyce we host rivals from Szczecin. SPR Pogoń Szczecin currently holds the sixth place in the Superleague table. A strong team, with a few players in the well-known handball fans from their performance in the Polish national team.
Respecting our rivals, our team has repeatedly proved that there are no easy matches in Kobierzyce and will surely come out on the pitch to fight for another victory.

Jelenia Team besiegt !

In the first match of the second round, and at the same time the derby, two Lower Silesian KPRs faced each other in a match. Out of two KPR’s the one from Kobierzyce was on the top, winning in Jelenia Góra 28-20.

From the beginning of the game, the team lead by oEdyta Majdzińska played very well in its defense – very active and aggressive. This effectively hindered scoring goals for rivals. On the other side of the pitch Mączka and Skalska were doing very well. After a quarter of an hour and the hit of Kinga Jakubowska, the athlets from Kobierzyce were already leading by 9: 5. Effective interventions by Magd Słota allowed quick counterattacks, ended by Wiertelak with scoring. The last goal in this part of the game was won by the host team, however the visitors were leading to the break 17:14.

The second part of the match was increasing the advantage of the team of guests. Jelenia’s coach – Michał Pastuszkas team did not score for twelve minutes, with five rivals at the same time. From the state of 15:17 it got up to 15:22. At that time Janczak scored three times in a raw, taking out the hopes of victory for the people of Jelenia Góra. The final result of the match at 20:28 was set by Monika Kaźmierska.

Our team, thanks to the full set of points gained, have increased their achievements to 15 points and still occupy the seventh position in the table. In the next round, we will face the PGNiG Superliga leader, MKS Perła Lublin. The match will be played on Saturday, January 13 at 17:00 in the Sports Hall in Kobierzyce. Welcome!

Frohe Weihnachten und ein glückliches neues Jahr

By submitting the best Christmas wishes, a few words summarizing the first round of the current season’s games. Our first team completed first 11 games, collecting 12 points and taking 7th place at the end of the round in the Polish Women’s Handball Superleague Standings. To visualize the progress it is two places highher than the position at the end of the last season. The first team is currently preparing for the second round of the Superleague games, which will start for us in Jelenia Góra with the game versus local KPR there.  The match is scheduled at the beginning of January, the exact date confirmation will follow. Regardless of the Superleague games, the frist team will join the 1/8 Polish Cup shortly. The first match also in early January of the coming year. The end of 2017 was also the time of league games for junior and children of KPR Kobierzyce. A nice end to the year was a very successful Santa Claus Tournament, which was attended by over one hundred of our youngest players.

KPR Kobierzyce mit Optimismus in der nächsten Saison

14th of June 17, at the conference facilities of our sponsor – Orient Palace Hotel in Bielany Wrocławskie our club KPR Kobierzyce held an official season closing festive closing meeting.
The players, the supporters, the local authorities and the media representatives attended. It was a time for a brief summary of the passing year and an outline of the club’s future plans.
The most important point of the ceremony was the official presentation of changes in the team composition of the KPR Kobierzyce Superliga team.

We are pleased to officially confirm the composition of the senior squad for the upcoming 2017/18 season.

Edyta Majdzińska will be the new coach of the senior team.
Four new players will join the team:
1. Marta Dąbrowska – center
2. Monika Ciesiółka – goalkeeper
3. Mariola Wiertelak – winger
4. Edyta Charzyńska – center
Katarzyna Demiańczuk, Barbara Szymańska, Amanda Łuczkowska, Urszula Olejnik, Marta Łyszczyk and Oliwia Bartkowska left the club.

An additional change will be the new composition of the physiotherapeutic section of the team composed of: Mr. Adrian Kozłowski – physiotherapist, Mr. Tomasz Antosik – sports psychologist.

Dear Fans, Kobierzyce Handball Club has a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the competition to create the official mascot of our club. The competition is addressed to children and youth, everyone interested kindly welcomed to participate. We do not limit the imagination of artists in any way, the form of projects is arbitrary. The mascot will be used in advertising campaigns, sporting and cultural events, as well as promotional materials for the club, with particular emphasis on the youngest sports fans. Fiesta für das Ende der Saison!

In the closing game of the 2016/2017 season, KPR Kobierzyce hosted Jelenia Gora team. Although our team have already got qualified to the next Superleague season, the girls kicked off the game very concentrated, winning in a beautiful style with the RB Jelenia Góra 33:20 (14:11). Thanks to the victory our players became the 9th PGNiG Superleague club. The match could surely please the fans. The first leg, also for the those who came from Jelenia Gora. Kobierzyce led from the beginning (great play by Julia Walczak) but Jelenia Gora was close to the draw. The second half belonged completely to Kobierzyce. The spectacular actions of Monika Kaźmierska, Kinga Jakubowska, Linkowska’s berries, Beata Skalska and Julia Walczak, and Magdalena Słota’s excellent performance  at the goal post did not leave too many illusions in the Lower Silesian KPR.  Anna Mączka, the most successful sniper of Kobierzyce, was watching from the stands, due to injury. The event was additionally supported by Cheerleaders Wroclaw performance. After the match on the stands and on the dance floor began a joyous fiesta. There was a time for thanks, flowers and taking pictures. A lottery with attractive prizes was organized for the supporters. Enjoying a good season, we c wait to meet again. So see you in September, already in the next Supeleague round!  

Zwei Siege im Niederschlesischen Mädchenliga-Turnier

On Sunday, May the 14, 2017 our club organized the last tournament in the Lower Silesian Girls‘ League. Four teams participated KPR Kobierzyce, MKS Zagłębie Lubin, MKS Victoria Świebodzice and UKS Jedynka Dzierżoniów.

In the first game of KPR vs team from Swiebodzice and, despite weaker first half, won by 15-11. Kalina Smoleń – 6 scored the most goals for KPR.

In the second duel Zagłębie Lubin took the Jedynka Dzierżoniów . The fight was fierce, but eventually Zagłębie won 12-10.

A moment later the team from Lubin  met Victoria. The first part of the meeting definitely controlled the team from Świebodzice, but after changing the pitch sides, both teams changed. Zaglebie managed to make up for the loss, and the equalizing goal fell literally at the last second.

The last match, KPR played agianst Dzierzoniow’s contemporaries. Kobierzyczanki from the beginning controlled the course of the meeting. Aleksandra Burnat-5 scored the most goals.

The tournament, in addition to sporting rivalry and an extremely fierce battle on the court, was also accompanied by a fun atmosphere.

Thanks to the three scoring points of the Lubin Region players won bronze medals in this year sesaon. The girsl from Kobierzyce, lead by Dominiki Daszkiewicz’s  finally qualified for sixth place.
